I slump onto the grass next to the river and plop my bare feet into the cool water with an angry huff of breath. Early this morning my parents and siblings decided to drive up the mountain and spend the day on a picnic. Predictably, my brother and I began fighting. The hurtful words of my hormonal adolescent brother have once again broken through my defenses and left me far angrier than I thought they could.
